Help, About the data
Where the catalogue comes from
Tana's catalogue is built from a long list of public sources, checked against each other. Some of the main ones are Japanese and English Wikipedia, Wikidata, Redump, MAME, the DuckStation and PCSX2 emulator databases, GameTDB, Nintendo's own store catalogues, the Neo Geo Master List, and Generation MSX.
On top of that comes everything collectors add: corrections, editions, photos, and regional differences.
The catalogue is shared under CC BY-SA 4.0, so anyone can reuse it as long as they credit Tana and share it the same way. Tana doesn't use data from MobyGames, PCGamingWiki, or PriceCharting.
