Glossary
- Game: the title itself, across all regions and platforms
- Release: a game's version in one region on one platform
- Edition: a specific product within a release (standard, reprint, limited, cover variant, etc.). This is what you add to your collection.
- Copy: one physical copy you own of an edition
- Serial / product code: the code on the spine, disc or cartridge, i.e. SLPS-00700
- JAN: the Japanese barcode number on the box
- Obi: the paper spine card that comes with many Japanese games
- CIB: complete in box
- Loose: the cartridge or disc on its own
- Reprint line: a budget re-release series, i.e. PlayStation the Best or Greatest Hits
- Cover variant: a printing with different box art under the same serial
- Country edition: a European version for one country, with its own serial
- Japan only: never released in North America or Europe
- Western only: never released in Japan
- Physical in the West only: Japan only got a download, the West got a physical release
- Verified: a copy with an approved photo of that copy
